About us
We, EyeSense GmbH, are a young medical technology company – a spin-off of the pharmaceutical company Novartis – with strong investors and great future prospects in the very dynamically growing diabetes market.
With a highly innovative product concept, EyeSense develops diagnostic systems that enable painless and continuous measurement of blood sugar concentrations without taking blood. Following excellent research results, we are now working on approval of our first product. We are pursuing our ambitious project with great enthusiasm and commitment. Our researchers and laboratory technicians work hand in hand to master the project milestones.
Your Responibilities
- Development, construction and optimization of mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices
- Creation of technical drawings and 3D models (CAD) for production
- Conducting feasibility studies, tests and simulations to ensure product quality and safety
- Close collaboration with the electronics, software and production departments to integrate the mechanical components
- Support in the introduction of new products into series production as well as technical support for existing products
- Ensuring compliance with medical technology standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 13485)
- Technical documentation and creation of test plans
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in the field of design and development, ideally in medical technology or another regulated environment e.g. automotive
- Sound knowledge of CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo or comparable)
- Initial experience in dealing with manufacturing processes and materials technology
- Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and a high degree of initiative
- Knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 13485, MDR) is an advantage
